A pressure reducing seat cushion for a client who sits for long stretches in a wheelchair, a recliner or a dining chair and is at risk of skin damage. The high profile is the thicker of the two options, so it gives more depth of material under the ischial tuberosities.
It is built from visco elastic foam over a high resilience foam base. The visco layer moulds to the shape of the person and spreads load away from bony points, while the resilient base stops the client bottoming out and keeps the cushion stable to sit on.
The cover is a two way stretch water resistant fabric with a concealed zip, which lets the foam conform without the cover tenting, and copes with the spills and incontinence that come with long sitting. It fits most seats and chairs.
