The Sydney GoFlat is designed for ICU and acute wards, where getting people out of bed early matters. One button takes it from seated to fully flat, and its height adjusts electrically from 540 to 950 mm to line up with the bed for a slide transfer. Independent drop arms help prevent falls during the move.
The back reclines from 96 to 180 degrees, the leg rest goes from minus 10 degrees to horizontal, and the chair tilts in space. A removable castellated mattress, IV and oxygen fittings round it out. A wide 660 mm seat is available as the Sydney GoFlat Plus.
Who it suits
