Tilting a Raz commode normally means a hand on each trigger. That does not work when the carer needs to keep a hand on the client.
Dual triggers group both release levers onto one push handle. This version puts them both on the right, and on a tilt only or recline only chair the pair can sit on either side. The carer can then hold the client, or steady the chair, with one hand and release the tilt or recline with the other.
It suits a carer who is right hand dominant, has reduced strength or dexterity in the left hand, or who works with a client who has spasm or poor trunk control. It also helps in a bathroom where the chair can only be approached from one side. Where carers change shift to shift and nobody has a side preference, the standard one trigger each side layout is simpler.
