The KA112S is a transit shower commode: the carer pushes from the rear handle, the chair rolls into the shower and over the toilet, and your client stays in one seat through the whole routine.
Loop style arms swing up and out of the way to clear the side for a lateral or hoist assisted transfer. The footplate slides out for use and retracts for transfers, and it is a non weight bearing plate, so it holds the feet in sitting but should not be stood on. If your client takes load through their feet during a stand transfer, choose the weight bearing KA113S instead.
The frame is rust resistant and the seat and backrest use waterproof, easy clean materials for daily showering. Seat width is chosen at order and the wider seats carry a higher rating, so match the width to the client rather than ordering on hip measurement alone. This listing is the narrowest of the range.
