Some clients have both a seizure disorder and a falls risk, and running two separate alarm systems in one bedroom is a headache for everyone. This configuration handles both from the one monitor.
The under mattress sensor detects seizure movement and sound, and the falls option adds bed exit detection so the same unit alerts when your client gets up unassisted. Both events go wirelessly to the pager the carer or support worker carries, so there is one device to respond to and one system to maintain.
For overnight support workers, that single point of alert is the difference between a workable roster and a night spent checking the room. For the person being supported, nothing is worn and nothing sits on top of the mattress.
Sensitivity settings are adjustable and the monitor holds battery backup through a power cut.
