When a child’s pelvis rolls or their legs drift into abduction or adduction, a flat seating surface will not hold them. The JAY GS Positioning Cushion is the GS supplied with positioning components fitted to the base, so the pressure care and the postural correction come from one item.
Components include lateral pelvic supports, lateral thigh supports, medial thigh supports and shelf extensions, and they come in two build heights so you can start light and go firmer if the child needs more control. They attach to loop fastening across the foam base, which means you can move them at a review without tools.
Under the components, the JAY Flow fluid insert keeps working on skin integrity while the child sits. That suits a client who has both a postural need and a skin risk, and it keeps the carer’s set-up routine to one piece of equipment.
