Made for clients who need to sit for a shower and want something more comfortable than a bare plastic seat. The seat is padded and waterproof, so it does not hold water and does not feel cold to sit on.
The seat can be angled slightly forward, which takes pressure off the hip joints and makes standing up at the end easier for clients with hip pain or a replacement. Height adjusts without tools, and two of the legs have their own height settings so the stool can be levelled on a sloping or stepped shower floor. That is a real problem in older Tasmanian bathrooms and this solves it without packing anything under a leg.
The aluminium frame keeps it light enough for a carer or the client to move it in and out of the recess.
