The K Care KA220AAHD is a heavy duty shower chair for a larger client who cannot stand safely for the length of a shower. Fixed arms on heavy gauge tube, set wide apart, give a solid hold to lower onto and push up from, and the moulded seat clips on and lifts off for cleaning.
Seat height adjusts to suit the client and the height of the shower base, so the chair can be set once and left. The aluminium frame carries a high rating but stays light in the hand, which matters when it has to be lifted in and out of the recess between showers or stored against a wall.
It is for shower use inside the recess. A client who needs to be wheeled to the bathroom or positioned over the toilet needs a mobile shower commode instead.
