In a compact bathroom or bedroom, three pieces of equipment will not fit. The Freedom Split Seat Chair does three jobs with one frame: a shower chair in the recess, an over toilet aid standing over the pan, or a bedside commode with a pan fitted.
The patented padded seat is split so it opens at the front and the rear. That is what lets a carer wash and dry the client, or the client use the toilet, without getting off the chair. For someone with limited standing tolerance or hip precautions, every transfer avoided is worth having.
The powder coated aluminium frame is light to move between rooms and the height adjusts to suit the client and the toilet it has to clear. Backrest and armrests are available if the client needs them, which keeps the base chair simple for those who do not.
