Turning on a wet floor is where a lot of showers go wrong. The Delta S34 takes the turn out of it: the round padded seat rotates a full circle in either direction, so your client can sit down, swing round to the taps and swing back without shuffling their feet.
It suits a client with good sitting balance who finds rotating difficult, whether that is hip or knee stiffness or fatigue that makes standing to wash unsafe. The footprint is small, so it will go into a narrow recess that a shower chair will not, and there is a shelf under the seat for soap or a flannel.
The aluminium frame is light enough to lift out of the recess for cleaning, or to free the shower for someone else in the house. There is no backrest and no arms, so a client who needs trunk support, or something solid to push up from, should be looking at a shower chair.
