A moulded plastic shower stool with side arms and an open front seat, for clients who cannot stand safely for a full shower.
The open front is there to allow personal care and perineal washing while the client stays seated, so a task that would otherwise force them to stand can be done sitting down. The arms give something to push up from at the end of the shower, which matters for clients with weak quadriceps. Legs are height adjustable so the seat can be set for the client’s knee height and their foot position on the shower floor.
The moulded seat drains and wipes clean, and the whole stool is light enough for a carer to move in and out of a small bathroom.
