The J2 Positioning Cushion is for clients who need skin protection and postural correction at the same time and would rather keep it to one piece of equipment. It is the standard-height J2 cushion supplied with positioning components on the base.
The foundation is a contoured closed-cell foam base with an anatomical well and femoral loading, so the thighs take a share of the load and the pelvis stays back in the chair. A JAY Flow fluid tripad sits through the ischial area, conforming to the client’s shape and adjusting as they move. There is nothing to pump or check.
The positioning components manage adduction, abduction and lateral pelvic drift, and can be moved as the client’s posture changes. The base can be carved and built up for asymmetry, so a client with a fixed obliquity can be accommodated properly at the fitting.
