A lift and recline chair on castors, for a client who is seated for most of the day and needs to be moved about the house in the chair. Rolling them to the table or to the window saves transfers, which is where most of the risk to a carer sits.
One motor drives the recline and the lift, so operation stays simple. When your client is ready to get up, the seat tilts forward and raises them to a position where they can take their own weight or be assisted with much less effort.
The seat uses a total surface air pressure system for long sitting, the cushions are removable for cleaning and the cover is a low shear fabric that is kind to fragile skin. Battery backup means the chair still reclines in a blackout, and the wall saving recline lets it sit close to the wall.
