Anterior head drop is one of the hardest positioning problems to solve, because the support has to come around in front of the head without blocking the face. The Whitmyer Heads Up does that, giving anterior, posterior and lateral support of the head and neck so a client can hold a line of sight and stay part of what is happening around them.
This version has fixed arms. Once the clinician sets the position, it stays there, which suits a client who needs the same support every time and a care team who want fewer parts to adjust.
Pad sizes run from early intervention through to large, so it can be prescribed for a child or an adult, with reversed Dartex or Lycra covers depending on moisture and skin needs.
