Some children and adults will slip out of a standard rein in seconds. This Crelling chest padded walking rein was built for exactly that person: the very active escapologist who has limited awareness of road or crowd safety and needs a harness that stays put.
A padded chest plate connects to a chest belt, a waist belt and shoulder straps, so the load is carried across strong webbing at several points. The carer’s rein attaches at either side of the chest pad, between the waist and chest straps, which lets you guide direction as well as hold position. The rein strap is designed to be held from behind, not pulled from the front. The chest pad is fire retardant PVC and wipes clean after a day out.
Both belts adjust fully, so the fit can move with growth or with layers of clothing.
