These attaching plates build up a tray into a working surface for a client who needs objects to stay put. Hook and loop on the front and the back of each block means a plate can be positioned, moved and repositioned without tools, so a therapist can change the layout between activities or as a client’s skills change.
The high density polyethylene body is easy to wipe down and the soft surfaces are safe against arms and hands. In practice the blocks are used to hold switches, communication aids, bowls and toys where the client can reach them, and the tactile surface gives some clients something to work against while they stay on task.
They come in a range of block sizes so you can mix small and large across one tray.
