It suits clients on bed rest, clients with reduced sensation or circulation, and anyone whose legs need a settled resting position overnight. Because the wedge holds its shape, the offloading stays in place as the client moves. The granulating insert version can be formed to the individual leg and will hold that shape.
Frotte and washable covers are available, so the wedge stays in service while covers are being laundered.
