Some children have little or no independent sitting control and spend the day in a tilt-in-space frame. The Wonderseat Space is the seating system for that child, supplied here with drop mount hardware and a tray.
Who it suits
Children needing moderate to high postural support, where gravity has to be managed through tilt. Lateral trunk supports, an anterior trunk harness with integrated cam locks, and the growth-adjust back support all work together on the one shell.
The tray gives the child a surface for play, communication devices and mealtimes, and it lifts off when the chair has to go through a doorway or up to a table. Growth is handled by the sliding back interface and the modular Constructa cushion, so the system follows the child as they grow. A shower cap cover comes as standard and the hip belt unthreads from numbered slots for washing, which keeps the cleaning routine simple for a school or a respite carer.
