The Wonderseat Bounce is a complete paediatric seating system that drops into a manual wheelchair frame, so a child gets postural support as one designed package.
Who it suits
It is built for children who need a moderate to low level of support in sitting and who transfer with help from a carer. Spex do not recommend it for a child who self propels. This configuration comes with drop mount hardware and no tray.
The growth-adjust back support slides up as the child grows, and the Constructa cushion is modular, so the ischial block can be moved as the shape of the child changes. For families, the small things carry the day: quick-release arm supports and front-access harness clips make a transfer quick, a shower cap cover comes as standard, and the hip belt threads through numbered slots so it goes back exactly where it was after a wash. Less hardware overall means less weight for a parent lifting the chair into a car.
