The Manta is a shoulder height back support with lateral trunk supports built into the shell, so trunk containment and back support arrive as one system. It suits clients with mild to moderate trunk asymmetry who need deep lateral contouring and a solid back to push against.
The laterals adjust for depth and height, and the cover can be flipped a full turn to sit the laterals higher or lower on the trunk, so one shell covers a range of chest heights. A memory foam centre section takes the spine and neoprene lateral covers sit against the ribs. The zip runs around the rear edge, so a carer can strip the cover for washing without unmounting anything.
