About this product

A wipeable standing sling for clients using a Sara Stedy, Sara Flex or Sara 3000. It is for the semi active client who can take weight through a leg and wants to stand as part of the transfer.

The fabric is non porous and the seams are welded, so there is no stitching to trap fluid and nothing rough against the client’s skin. That makes it the version to specify in an infection control setting, or for a client where continence or wound exudate means a laundered sling is not practical.

Cleaning is by wiping and disinfecting at the bedside, so the sling stays with the client and does not disappear into a laundry cycle. The belt is fixed to the sling so the two parts cannot be separated and mismatched by staff.
