Most of the clients on a hoist caseload will fit a Quickfit Deluxe. It is a general purpose full body sling in solid polyester, with contoured leg sections that hold the hip and thigh and keep the client sitting properly in the lift.
The solid fabric glides well, which makes application easier when a client is seated in a chair and your carer is working the sling down behind them on their own. It dries quickly after a wash and holds its shape through a laundry cycle.
It covers bed to chair, chair to commode, and a floor recovery after a fall once the assessment supports it. With careful assessment it can also be used for amputees. Colour coded binding and coloured attachment loops make the size and the correct loop selection obvious to whoever is on shift.
