Hydrotherapy is often the one place a client with high support needs can move freely, and this sling is what gets them there safely. It supports the body in the water with a foam neck roll holding the head buoyant, a waist support with a connecting groin strap, and a padded roll at the base for comfort through a longer session.
For therapists it means the pool session can be about the therapy rather than about holding someone up. For carers it takes a physically demanding hold out of the water entirely.
It uses detachable colour coded tapes and is for loop fixing hoists only. It is not lifesaving equipment, so constant supervision in the water still applies.
