A hobbed shower or a bath edge stops a lot of clients from showering safely, and a bathroom modification is not always possible, affordable or allowed in a rental. The Showerbuddy SB1 solves it without touching the building.
The client transfers once, onto the padded commode chair at the bed or wheelchair. From there the chair rolls along a bridge over the hob or bath edge and into the shower, where the rotating base turns it to face the taps. Nobody is lifted over a step and there is no second transfer. The same chair rolls over most standard toilets, and a pan and lid are supplied for use away from one.
The frame is marine grade aluminium with stainless steel fittings, built to live in a wet room. Flip back arms remove and lock for side transfers, and the castors lock for the transfer itself. It suits clients waiting on modifications who still need to shower in the meantime.
