Who it suits
The Carino is a powered hygiene chair for clients who can sit with support but cannot stand or walk through a shower routine. The client stays in the chair for showering, toileting and foot care and is moved between rooms in it, so the number of transfers in a morning drops for them and for the staff.
Seat height is adjusted electrically across a wide range, which lets carers work at a height that suits them and lets the chair be brought level with a bed or a shower chair for a lateral transfer. The curved frame keeps the client’s position comfortable while the height changes.
Swing away leg rests with rotating footplates let carers reach the legs and feet for washing, then move out of the way for transfers. This build is the electric version with two batteries, a charger and a head support, so one battery is on charge while the other is in use.
