The Cougar 14 is the larger mid wheel drive chair in the Cougar range, on bigger drive tyres for clients who want to keep going once the footpath runs out. It holds a line on grass, gravel and worn concrete, while still turning in a tight space thanks to the centre drive position.
Who it suits
A full time powerchair user who travels a fair distance in a day: to work, to study, to the shops and back. The high back contoured seat and headrest support posture across that kind of mileage, and the seat adjusts for height and angle so seating can be tuned at fitting.
Armrests and footrest adjust as well, and swing away legrests, elevating legrests and stump support are available where a client’s legs need to be positioned. Finger controls and multiple speed settings keep it manageable for a client who is still learning the chair.
