The Orlando Bariatric gives people of larger build the same powered rise, recline, leg elevation and tilt as the Orlando. The seat tilts back 26 degrees on the 650 to 750 mm widths, and the rise includes a 30 degree forward tilt to help with standing.
Seat depth runs from 450 to 650 mm, the back configuration adjusts, the memory foam seat lifts out and the arms can be replaced. An Orlando Bariatric Plus at 850 mm seat width carries up to 450 kg but has no tilt in space.
Who it suits
People of larger build who can stand with help and need a riser recliner that also supports posture and pressure care. We trial bariatric chairs at home or in care with the prescribing OT, Tasmania-wide.
