Who it suits
This is the wide, heavy duty version of the Reliant Deluxe day chair, built for a larger client who needs a proper seated position for most of the day. The seat is wide and the chair carries a high weight capacity, so a bariatric client is supported without perching on the front edge or being wedged between the arms.
Seat height and seat depth both adjust, so you can set the chair to the person’s lower leg length and thigh length. Getting those two right is what keeps the pelvis back in the seat and the feet loaded, which in turn reduces sliding and shear.
The padded seat and backrest support posture through a long sitting day, and tilt and move wheels are fitted as standard so staff can reposition the chair in a room without lifting it.
