The Studio is a powered lift recliner with four separate motors, so the head, back, legs and lumbar all move independently. For a client with a complicated sitting position, that means you can set the back angle for breathing, drop the legs for oedema and still bring the head forward for eating or watching television.
The lift function raises the seat and tips the client gently towards standing, which saves a carer from hauling on someone who is already unsteady. The extended leg rest keeps the calves and feet supported through the recline, and the handset has a USB socket so a phone charges from the chair.
Who it suits
It suits clients who spend long hours seated and need more than one recline position through the day. Petite and standard sizes mean the seat can be matched to the body, and the upholstery is made to look like lounge furniture.
