The Alivio Donatello Petite from K Care is the smaller build of the Donatello, scaled down through the seat so a client who is short in the leg or trunk sits with their feet on the floor and their back supported.
Four independent motors drive the headrest, lumbar support, backrest and footrest. Because they move separately, your client can lie flat for pressure relief, raise the head while still reclined to read or watch television, or set a supported upright posture, all from six presets on the handset rather than hunting for a position. The two-stage lift rises more vertically with only a slight forward tilt, so the client is brought up towards standing rather than tipped forward out of the seat.
This model carries the lateral support backrest in Merino Steel, a grey woven fabric, to help keep the trunk centred for a client who drifts sideways through the day. It is worth considering for pressure relief through lying flat, for a headrest that stays supportive when reclined, or for lumbar support with kyphosis, lordosis or arthritic back pain. Check the client’s height and weight against the chair’s size range and rated capacity before ordering.
