It also gains a drum brake and a parking brake, and that is what makes it usable on a slope. Being able to slow the frame on a descent, and park it while the child gets their breath back on the fold-back seat, is what turns a supervised walk into a family outing. Direction locks keep it tracking straight, forearm armrests with handles give a secure hold, the backwards stop is available as an option, and the aluminium frame folds for the boot. Schuchmann put it at GMFCS levels III to IV.
