A storage basket turns a Malte walker into something a child can carry their own things in. School books, a drink bottle, a lunch box or a favourite toy travel with them, not in the hands of an adult walking alongside.
That has a practical use in therapy too. Carrying is one of the reasons children want to walk, and giving a child the job of taking something from one room to another is often a better motivator than another lap of the corridor.
The basket mounts to the frame, sits clear of the stepping space and is supplied in sizes to match the walker. It can be fitted to a walker already in use and removed again when it is not needed.
