If your client drifts to one side through a lesson or a meal, a pair of trunk laterals will hold them upright without you standing over the chair. They mount on the backrest and give the ribcage a firm, padded surface to sit against.
The single knob adjustment is the practical part. Height, width and rotation all move together, so a teacher aide or a parent can set them correctly after you have shown them once, and they can be widened as a child grows, so one pair lasts for years.
Supplied as a pair, in small or medium sizing and a large, matched to the chair frame. They remove for transfers and go back to the same setting.
