Getting close enough to the table is where a lot of dining independence is lost. The Revolution solves it with a seat that swivels and slides: your client sits down on a seat turned towards them, turns to face the table, then uses the lever to glide the seat in to the table edge. Nobody has to haul the chair forward while they are half standing.
A safety lock holds the swivel still for sitting down and standing up, and the canted front legs keep the chair steady with the seat extended. The steel frame, waterfall polyurethane arms and commercial grade vinyl take a wipe down after every meal, and the backrest brackets move forward for a smaller client. A long list of vinyl colours means it can look like dining room furniture rather than equipment.
It suits a client who can stand and sit with arm support but cannot shuffle a chair in, after a hip replacement, with arthritis, or with the reduced strength and balance of later age. Aged care dining rooms use it heavily and it works just as well at a home table. If your client needs a different seat height, ask about the height adjustable Revolution; if they need pressure care or tilt, this is not the chair.
