About this product

An angle adjustable push brace gives the carer a handle at a height and angle that suits them, which is the difference between pushing a Wombat Living comfortably and pushing it with the wrists cocked and the shoulders raised.

It mounts to the back frame of the chair and can be set to the person doing the pushing, so a tall parent and a shorter teacher aide can both use the same chair without a compromise position. Once set it locks in place and stays put.

For families where one carer does most of the handling, getting the push height right is a straightforward way to reduce load on the back and shoulders. The brace is not a lifting handle and should not be used to take the chair up or down stairs.
