This version of the Rabbit Up hip support adds a de-rotation function, so you can correct a pelvis that turns as well as one that drops. It is for the child whose hips rotate away from midline under load, often alongside spinal rotation or an asymmetric tone pattern.
Setting the support against the rotation brings the pelvis back towards square and keeps the trunk stacked above it. That gives the child a better line of sight, easier breathing and more chance of using their hands at the tray. It also makes the stand more comfortable, which usually means the program gets done.
It is a clinical correction, so it is worth setting with a therapist present the first time. Sizes match the frame.
