Parted foot rests give each foot its own plate on the Multi Frame:x, and each plate adjusts for height on its own. They suit a child with a leg length difference or with asymmetry through the hips, where one foot needs to sit lower than the other to keep the pelvis level.
Supporting the shorter leg properly usually settles the trunk as well, because the child is no longer bracing to reach a support that is not there. The plates can also be set apart for legs that rest wide, and swung clear for transfers.
They are ordered against the frame size and the child’s foot length.
