Who it suits
A growing child who needs a manual wheelchair they will not outgrow in a year. The Evolutive frame uses a telescopic cross brace, so the seat width opens out as the child does, and the backrest canvas and seat depth adjust to follow them, so the chair keeps up as they grow.
The frame is folding aluminium and light enough for a parent to lift into a boot on their own, with the rear wheels coming off to bring the load down further. Centre of gravity, seat angle and seat height are all set at fitting, so you can tune the balance for a child learning to self propel or keep it stable and rearward for a child who is pushed.
Backrest options run from fixed through folding to a reclining setup on jacks, which gives you room to change the prescription as tone and posture change. Six chassis colours and three spoke protector designs let the child have a say in how it looks, which is not a small thing at this age.
