A child who walks in a Crocodile with the back and side support fitted will sometimes still drift forward out of it. This strap closes the front of that support so the pelvis stays where you set it, and the child keeps working on the gait pattern, not on staying upright.
It clips between the two side pads and adjusts over a useful span, so it grows with the child and copes with different clothing through the year. Release is quick, which matters when a carer is getting a child in and out several times in a school day.
Worth adding when you have already set the side supports as wide as they usefully go and the child needs a little more containment at the front.
