Kneeling beside a bath to wash a child is uncomfortable and puts the carer in a poor position for lifting. The Otter tub stand sits inside the bath and raises the bath chair off the floor of the tub, which brings the child closer to the carer and reduces the reach and the bend.
It is a simple frame that the chair clips onto, with an adjustable height range so it can be set to suit the carer and the depth of the bath. The chair still comes off for use on the floor of the tub when that is preferred.
