Plenty of Tasmanian homes have a bath and no shower recess, which leaves clients stepping over a high rim into a slippery space. The Oasis II bath board bridges the bath so a client can sit down on the outside edge, swing their legs over and wash seated.
The board is moulded plastic, light enough for a client or carer to lift in and out, with a textured non slip surface and drainage slots so water does not pool under them. Two independently adjustable rubber pillars press against the inside walls of the bath, which lets it sit firmly in narrow baths as well as standard ones. A removable moulded grab rail gives a hand hold through the transfer, and there is a moulded soap holder.
