Some children and adults cannot load a walker through their hands and wrists, whether because of pain, contracture, poor grip or limited control. Forearm platforms move that load up to the forearms and elbows, so the walker is still usable.
These attach to a Nimbo posterior walker and come with the mounting bracket. Height, depth and handgrip position all adjust, and the handgrips rotate forward or back, supinate, pronate and set at an angle, so the platform can be matched to the shape a client’s arm actually holds. The contoured armrest has a flexible edge, and hook and loop straps keep the arm from slipping off during gait practice.
There is a choice of mounting inside or outside the handlebar, with spacers included, which gives lateral adjustment for a narrower or wider arm position.
This is the large size.
