Repositioning someone in bed is where a lot of carer injuries happen, and where a lot of skin damage happens too. The Maxi Transfer Sheet does the job of a bed sheet and a repositioning sling at the same time, so the client can be turned, rolled to prone and back, moved flat from bed to trolley, or lifted from the floor, without being rolled onto a separate sling first.
It is a single layer with no seams under the body, all the stitching sits at the edges, which takes a known pressure risk out of leave in situ use. Clinical assessment decides whether it stays under the client between transfers, and where it does, the number of handling episodes drops.
Colour coded straps tell the carer which size sheet they have and where the attachment points sit, which cuts hesitation at the bedside. It attaches by loops to Arjo passive lift systems.
