About this product

Decanting liquid nitrogen for cryotherapy is a small job that goes wrong quickly if the tool is not right. This ladle is made to lift nitrogen out of a dewar for transfer into a cryosurgery unit or a working flask.

It is designed to be left sitting in the dewar between uses, which keeps it at temperature and cuts down evaporation each time the lid comes off. The handle keeps hands well clear of the cold surface, though it still needs careful, unhurried handling to avoid splashing.

It is a standard item for general practices, skin clinics and dermatology rooms running regular cryotherapy lists, and a sensible spare to hold alongside the main unit.
