Decanting liquid nitrogen from a dewar is the step in cryotherapy where most spills and burns happen. This extractor takes the handling out of it: the siphon tube goes into the dewar and nitrogen is drawn off into the spray flask without lifting or tipping the vessel.
The handle is double insulated so staff are not holding cold metal, and the clear disc over the bung lets the operator see what they are doing while the extractor goes in and comes out.
The siphon tube extends to suit different vessel depths, which makes it practical for a clinic that keeps more than one dewar size on site.
