The S-Ergo 125 is an everyday self propelled wheelchair for a client with reasonable trunk control who wants something light enough to load into a car boot without help. The frame is aircraft grade aluminium in an oval tube, and the top of the backrest folds down with the frame so the packed size stays manageable.
What sets the seating apart is the S shaped contour moulded into the base. It follows the shape of the pelvis and thighs, which shares the load more evenly and helps stop the client sliding forward through the day. The upholstery is treated to resist bacteria, fungal growth and odour, and it wipes clean.
Armrests flip back so the client can get in close to a table or transfer sideways to a bed without the armrest in the way, and the swing away footrests detach for transfers and to shed weight before lifting. This one comes in the rose and grey finish.
