The Flexx is a workhorse folding wheelchair with more adjustment than most chairs at its level. Seat depth, backrest angle and rear axle position all change, so the chair can be set for a client’s posture and the way they push, and reset when that changes. The aluminium frame uses ellipse-shaped tubing for stiffness, and Karma’s ergonomic hand rim gives a better grip for clients who propel all day.
Padded armrests flip back and adjust for height, and the footrests swing away and come off for transfers. Upholstery is treated with AEGIS microbe shield and wipes clean. Adjustment points are colour coded, which makes setup quicker for the therapist and the technician.

- Flexx: 16 x 16 in, 18 x 16 in, 18 x 18 in and 19 x 18 in seats, 130 kg capacity
- Flexx Tall: 18 x 20 in seat with extra depth for clients with longer thighs, 130 kg
- Flexx HD: 20, 22 and 24 in wide seats, 18 in deep, 170 kg capacity
- Flexx Junior: 12 x 12 in seat for children, 75 kg, with an adjustable frame that grows with the child
Who it suits
Clients who self-propel every day and need a chair that can be set up properly rather than taken as it comes. The HD covers larger clients without moving to a fully bariatric chair. The standard Flexx, Flexx Tall and Flexx Junior are crash tested to ISO 7176-19 for use as a vehicle seat when correctly tied down. The Flexx HD is not crash tested and must not be used as a seat in a vehicle. Book a trial and we will help the prescribing OT choose the right version and size.
