The aluminium frame carries Karma’s S-Ergo seat, shaped to spread pressure across the seat rather than concentrate it at the sit bones. For a client who sits for a few hours at a time, that is a noticeable difference from a flat sling. The backrest folds down and the frame folds narrow for a boot. Footrests swing away and lift off for transfers, the armrests are cut to slide under a table or desk, and the brakes are push to lock.
It suits an adult who self propels short distances indoors and out. A client who spends most of the day in the chair, or who needs seat height, back angle or leg rest adjustment, is better served by a configurable lightweight chair.
