A child who sits well on the floor still needs something to work on. The Jenx Nursery Table drops over the Jenx Corner Seat and gives that child a surface for play, meals and early school tasks at the height they are already sitting at, rather than lifting them into a chair for every activity.
A cut-out on one side brings the child close in with the forearms supported, which helps a child who struggles to bring their hands forward on their own. The bright contrasting edge marks out the work area and stops pieces sliding onto the floor. The top tilts from flat through to easel, so the same table works for a meal, a puzzle and drawing. Short touch and close straps hold the table to the Corner Seat so it cannot be pushed away or tipped over.
It also works with other floor seats or with a child who sits unaided, although the straps are cut for the Jenx seat. Two children can work from either side, which is useful in a kindergarten or classroom. The plastic top wipes clean and crumbs brush through the gap under the edging.
