Where a client needs moderate skin protection and a little postural help, the LowZone Gel Switch puts a GelFoam insert between top and bottom layers of temperature sensitive memory foam. The gel is encased so it cannot migrate, and it spreads load without bottoming out under the ischial tuberosities.
The cushion is reversible and marked for orientation, so it can be flipped and rotated to even out wear and still go back the right way round. That matters in homes where several people set the chair up.
Two cover options are available: a wipe down cover for clients managing continence, and a microclimatic cover where air movement at the skin is the priority.
